Dr. Blackmon has been practicing emergency care for numerous years. Starting his career as a Paramedic/Firefighter he quickly continued his education as a physician.

After finishing medical school in Alabama and his residency in Virginia, Dr. Blackmon decided there was no better place to start his career than in Central Georgia.
